| * Plans are underway for our end of the summer trip. We will be going to Spring Valley Beach in Blountsville on Wednesday, July 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $25 per person. This includes your ticket and gas for the bus. They have concessions and we will have a pavilion if you would like to bring a picnic lunch. All children 10 and under will need to be accompanied by a chaperone 18 years old or older. This trip is open to the whole church. We need lots of participation or the trip will have to be cancelled. Please sign up as soon as possible outside the church office. The sign up deadline is Sunday, July 25. If you have any questions call me at 256-762-4779. | * On Thursday, July 29, we will have our Terrific Thursday. This trip is for our little ones ages 2 to 5. We will meet at the Children’s Museum at 10:00 and have a picnic lunch in Dibert Park afterwards. The cost is $5 per person.

| * A back to school skating party is being planned for Wednesday, August 4 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The party will be held at the Florence Skate Center and the cost is $2. Supper will be provided. It will be a great time of fun and fellowship. We will be sharing the party with other area Methodist Churches. We will meet at the church at 5:30 p.m. and return by 8:15 p.m. Sign up by Sunday, August 1 so we will know how much food to buy.

| Children's Church |
| Children grades K-2 are invited to attend Children's Church during both the 8:45 and 11:00 services. The
children and leaders leave the service before the sermon and head upstairs for lessons, games, fun and fellowship. |

| Rotation Sunday School |
| Children grades 1-6 are enjoying our Rotation Sunday School
program where lessons are taught and experienced in six different hands-on activity rooms. Adult volunteers lead our
children through drama, games, theatre, computers, cooking, and arts & crafts. |
